Updates....

Zain had his drs. appt. last week and at 9 1/2 weeks he weighed in at 13 pounds and 3 oz. and was a whopping 25 1/4 inches!!! He's my big guy. Our house is run by him and his rotten big sister!

He seems to be getting better with the colic, but we still have our moments daily. I'll be so happy when that is all over and done with.

Another thing that I will be looking forward to is when we get Hana a new bed so he can have her crib. Thaer and I have been thinking about just getting Hana a toddler bed. I am so afraid though that she won't stay in it as she still seems a little young for it to me...(17 1/2 months)....Next week she has her 18 month checkup. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hana climbed up on the couch today all by herself!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so amazed...she'd been pulling on us to get herself on it, but this morning she did it like she had been doing it for years! She's 1 and a half going on 16!

Good news about me....I've lost another 5 pounds!!! YAY!

I'll update with pictures soon...I need to upload them from my camera...you'll be shocked at how much he's grown!

You've got 2 beautiful kids. I love the expressions your daughter has. I swear I used to see the same ones on her mother when we were young. Especially the one with her face all screwed up and teeth showing. When she is older I will certainly get out some old pics of you I have that she can use as leverage. I'm glad to see that Thaer is doing well with his back. He seems like a great Dad. Take care Yousef Family.

I don't think Hana is too young. We switched Kaley to a big girl bed some where between 18 and 19 months because we wanted her out of the crib for a while before Jaelynn gets here. I think if you just start talking to her about it now and get her really excited then she will be fine! From what I have learned from friends...don't leave the crib in her room, completely switch the crib for a big girl bed! Good Luck with everything!
